Regular dusting is usually all that is needed to keep your artificial silk tree looking fresh. Gently remove dust from the leaves using a soft cloth, feather duster or other gentle dusting method. For individual leaves that require additional cleaning, lightly wipe them with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, soaking the foliage or saturating natural wood trunks, moss and decorative containers. Always handle the leaves and branches gently while cleaning to help maintain their shape and realistic appearance.

Our artificial trees are available in a variety of heights and styles, from smaller accent trees to tall statement trees designed for larger spaces. Each product page provides the specific height and available dimensions for that tree. When choosing a size, consider your ceiling height, available floor space and where the tree will be viewed. Taller artificial trees can create an impressive focal point in living rooms, offices, reception areas, restaurants, hotels and other commercial spaces, while smaller trees work beautifully where space is limited. UV resistance varies by product. Some of our artificial trees and foliage are manufactured with UV-resistant materials designed to help reduce fading caused by sun exposure. If a product includes built-in UV protection, this will be noted in the individual product description. For artificial trees that do not have built-in UV protection and are being placed in an appropriate outdoor or covered outdoor setting, we recommend applying Sunguard UV Protectant Spray for additional protection. Outdoor conditions vary, so protecting artificial trees from prolonged direct sunlight and severe weather will help maintain their appearance and extend their useful life.

Most Silk Plants Canada artificial trees require little or no assembly. Our custom-made artificial trees arrive fully assembled and ready to display right out of the box. Because we use compact shipping methods to protect the tree during transportation, we recommend gently arranging, shaping and fluffing the foliage after unpacking to create the look and fullness you prefer.

Some tree styles require minor assembly. For example, our Artificial Dragon Trees require the head to be inserted, while our Artificial Areca Palm Trees require the palm fronds to be inserted and arranged. Any assembly requirements specific to a tree will be identified on the individual product page or in the instructions provided with the product.

Many of our artificial trees come securely planted in a grower's pot, while some trees may be displayed or sold with a decorative planter or container. What is included varies by product, so please check the individual product description for details. Silk Plants Canada also offers a selection of decorative planters, containers, baskets and plant stands that may be purchased separately, allowing you to customize the finished look to complement your home, office or commercial space.
