Outdoor suitability varies by product, so please check the individual product description before placing a palm outdoors. For artificial palms that are not manufactured with built-in UV protection, we recommend applying Sunguard UV Protectant Spray to help protect the foliage from sun exposure and fading. For best results and longevity, protect artificial palms from severe weather and prolonged exposure to harsh outdoor conditions.

Assembly requirements vary by palm style. Many artificial palms arrive largely assembled and only require gentle shaping and fluffing after shipping. Some styles, including certain Artificial Areca Palms, require the individual palm fronds to be inserted into the palm head before shaping. Once assembled, gently position and shape the fronds to create your preferred natural-looking appearance.

Regular dusting will help keep your artificial palm looking fresh and realistic. Use a soft cloth, feather duster or gentle compressed air to remove surface dust from the fronds. For more thorough cleaning, gently wipe the foliage with a soft damp cloth. Avoid harsh cleaning chemicals that could damage or discolor the foliage. Always allow the palm to dry completely before returning it to its display area.
